About

Mapheist launched in August 2026, three months before the GTA VI release. The site is run by one person — Alex, who has played the Grand Theft Auto series for twenty years. It is an independent fan project with no ties to Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive.

What gets published here

GTA VI news with dates and links to primary sources, frame-by-frame breakdowns of official trailers, guides and — after the release on November 19, 2026 — an interactive map of the game world.

Editorial rules

Confirmed information is kept separate from rumors: a rumor is always labeled as one, with its source and date. Leaked materials — files, footage, the map — are not published and not used as a basis for our own content. Official screenshots and trailer frames are used only as far as a review requires, with the rights holder credited.
