Eight dossier pages, zero named actors and fifteen months of guessing. On May 6, 2025, Rockstar opened the “Only in Leonida” section of the GTA VI site: Jason Duval, Lucia Caminos, Cal Hampton, Boobie Ike, Dre’Quan Priest, the Real Dimez duo, Raul Bautista and Brian Heder. The list has not grown once since, while the pile of theories around it now needs sorting.
The line here is simple. The “Dossier” paragraph retells Rockstar’s official page, and that part is fact. Anything in a callout or a list below it is a community or press theory, with a source attached.
Not confirmed: the voice cast. In fifteen months Rockstar has not named a single actor for a single role. Every name below is a fan or insider guess, however confident it sounds.
Who lives where is mapped out region by region in the locations guide and on the interactive map, and the story and playtime rumours are sorted by credibility in the rumour breakdown.
Jason Duval

Dossier: grew up around grifters, did an Army stint, and settled in the Leonida Keys, where he works for local drug runners. He wants an easy life; the site calls meeting Lucia the turning point of his story.
Jason has collected more theories than anyone else in the eight:
- The role is handed to Dylan Rourke, an actor with bit parts in Modern Family and Station 19. YouTuber LegacyKillaHD floated it back in May 2024 on two simple arguments: a voice match and mocap experience on his resume (Sportskeeda).
- Troy Baker denied playing Jason publicly, and Roger Craig Smith did the same.
- Dexerto spotted a paratrooper tattoo in the screenshots that lines up exactly with the Army line in his bio.
- The early “Jason is an undercover cop” theory (Reddit, December 2023) has quietly faded. Suspicion moved to Raul, more on him below.
Lucia Caminos

Dossier: her father taught her to fight, and fighting runs through her whole bio. Protecting her family landed her in the Leonida Penitentiary; luck got her out. She is the first female lead of the series’ modern era and the face of Trailer 1, which opened on her prison interview.
Theories: the community near-unanimously casts Manni L. Perez of Blindspot and Law & Order as Lucia. Perez voiced a casino dealer in GTA Online back in 2019, and fans read her social-media cleanups as NDA compliance. The ankle monitor in her screenshots spawned a second theory: movement will be restricted somehow early in the game. Neither has any confirmation.
Cal Hampton

Dossier: Jason’s friend and a fellow associate of Brian’s. A homebody conspiracy theorist who monitors Coast Guard comms with a beer open and the browser in private mode.
Three names have come up for Cal, and all three are about the voice:
- March 2026: insider GameRoll named SNL’s Bobby Moynihan, going by timbre and likeness (OpenCritic).
- A year earlier, Den of Geek cautiously suggested Matty Matheson of The Bear.
- Jay Klaitz, Lester’s voice in GTA V, denied any involvement.
Role-wise, the community pegs Cal as the new Lester: intel and tech support for the crew.
Boobie Ike

Dossier: a Vice City legend who turned a street past into a legitimate empire: real estate, the Jack of Hearts strip club and a recording studio. Co-invested in the Only Raw Records label with Dre’Quan.
Theories: fans link the name to Kenneth “Boobie” Williams, whom authorities called the leader of Miami’s Boobie Boys gang in the nineties. Parallels are also drawn with rap mogul Luke Campbell, whose radio station featured in Vice City Stories. Both comparisons stay unconfirmed guesses. No actor theories for Boobie exist at all, the only such blank across the eight.
Dre’Quan Priest

Dossier: “more hustler than gangster.” He dealt on the streets to fund a dream of breaking into music. Runs Only Raw Records on Boobie’s money and has just signed Real Dimez.
Theories: the label reads as an homage to Miami hip-hop outfits like Slip-N-Slide Records, the launchpad of Trick Daddy and Rick Ross. The community expects a music-industry questline from Dre’Quan, with less of the series’ usual satire and more genuine love for the craft.
Real Dimez

Dossier: Bae-Luxe and Roxy have been friends since high school. They used to shake down local dealers and now convert that experience into raunchy rap and round-the-clock posting. They broke out with a single featuring rapper DWNPLY and are signed to Only Raw Records.
Theories: the prototype was named two days after the dossiers went up. On May 8, 2025, HotNewHipHop pointed at Miami’s City Girls: the same two-friend formula, social-media rise and breakout collab. It is a fan theory, but nobody seems willing to dispute it.
Raul Bautista

Dossier: a charming veteran bank robber, “always on the hunt” for accomplices, with plans growing riskier from job to job.
The takes on Raul spread the widest of anyone’s:
- The obvious role is heist-giver for Jason and Lucia.
- The community compares him to Red Dead Redemption 2’s Dutch: a charismatic leader who may spiral at any moment.
- There is a reading that Raul and the unnamed detective from Trailer 2 are the same man. It is covered below, together with the other theories around that character.
Brian Heder

Dossier: a smuggler from the golden age of the Keys trade, still moving product through his boatyard with his third wife, Lori. He lets Jason live in one of his houses rent-free; in exchange, Jason collects debts.
Theories: on reveal day, May 6, 2025, Den of Geek “almost certainly” identified Brian’s voice as Stephen Root (Barry, Office Space). It remains the most confident actor call across the whole eight, and it is still unconfirmed. The character himself is a direct nod to the “square grouper” era of seventies Florida Keys marijuana smuggling.
Named officially, but no dossier
Beyond the eight, Rockstar has officially named a few more. Lori, Brian’s wife, is visible in the artwork. DWNPLY is known from Real Dimez’s bio. Wyman, the “eccentric collector and local fixer,” surfaced on June 24, 2026 in the Ultimate Edition blurb (RockstarINTEL). The same announcement mentioned a revolver “sourced from the Vercetti Estate”, the campaign’s first official nod to Vice City’s Tommy. And the salesman in Trailer 2’s Ammu-Nation commercial is, by community consensus, Phil Cassidy of the classic games, though the ad only calls him Phil.
Expected, but never named
The unnamed detective
The only character without a name who carries three separate theories. On screen he is an older man in a pale shirt talking to Jason, and the detail that matters hangs on his chest: a gold shield on a neck chain rather than on a belt. That is how plain-clothes officers wear it.

What rests on him:
- the line about cops protecting each other lands right before a cut to Jason shooting, which is the basis for the undercover-cop reading. IGN calls it the most plausible theory in circulation;
- an extension of the same idea: the detective could be a third playable character, hunting Jason and Lucia;
- on August 15, 2026, Notebookcheck covered a Reddit theory that the detective and Raul are the same man. The faces are similar; proof there is none.
Rockstar has commented on none of the three, and the site gives him no name. His scenes are broken down in the Trailer 2 piece.
The rest
Erin Henshaw exists only on campaign posters in the Ambrosia screenshots so far.
Then there is the Florida Joker saga. Real-life Floridian Lawrence Sullivan demanded 10 million dollars from Rockstar over his resemblance to the tattooed inmate in Trailer 1, then asked to voice the character instead, and eventually dropped the claims.
On August 27, “An Extended Look” may well add new names to this list. We’ll update the guide after the showcase, with the update date noted.
